On a rainy day here at TPF HQ, the time is right for 20 randoms.
First up, a Mack RD688 for Lucky 2 Transportation from Greensboro, NC.
A Peterbilt 387 for Elite Driving School from Eden, NC.
Don't see many single axle 387s.
A Sterling LT8500 for Cable's Enterprise from Browns Summit, NC.
A gaggle of cool *AM General M-series snowplows/salt spreaders for Triangle Grading & Paving from Burlington, NC.
*I'm not 100% sure on the make of these units - the military trucks of this era were made by a few manufacturers, but look basically identical, but AM General is my bet.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, in the UK, snowplow is spelled "snowplough".
A Ford F-550 for the NCDOT, who are headquartered in Raleigh, NC, which is the state's capital.
Also, note the apparatus on the front - it's a Lift Wise Bemis PPF 203 Post Puller, used for pulling up sign posts and such.
I'd like to see one of these operate. probably nothing spectacular, but an interesting bit of kit.
A cool Freightliner FLD120.
A Kenworth T800 for Cundiff Trucking from Wirtz, Virginia.
Another KW for Cundiff, a nice W900L.
A sharp International LT for Mabe Trucking, whose headquarters are in Eden, NC.
A typically cool Mack Anthem for Blue Max Trucking, who're headquartered in Charlotte, NC.
A Freightliner Cascadia for O'Neal Steel, who are headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
A cool Kenworth W900L.
A sharp Freightliner 122SD.
A Kenworth W900L.
A Freightliner Classic.
Boy howdy, looks like that trailer's taken a beating over the years.
A typically classy Freightliner Cascadia for Ashley Furniture, whose headquarters are in Brandon, Florida.
A sharp Kenworth W900B.
A Mack Anthem for Neuse logistics from Raleigh, NC.
A cool Ford F-350.
It's pulling a Kaufman trailer, which is a company from NC that builds their trailers here as well (as far as I know). I've had extensive experience with their products, and have actually visited their facility, and I definitely can recommend their trailers. https://www.kaufmantrailers.com/
And lastly, a beefy Kenworth T880 for Branch Civil Inc., who're headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia.
That's it for today, thanks for looking!
