Another day, another 10 random rigs.
Starting us off today, a Volvo VNM for Biscuitville, who are headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.
As the name suggests, Biscuitville is a breakfast oriented semi-fast-food restaurant that is concentrated in central NC. I'm 99% sure B-ville is only in NC, and mostly in what is considered the Piedmont area, being basically the center third of the state, and stretching from the VA border to the SC border.
They put emphasis on sourcing their ingredients locally around NC.
Personally, I consider them one of the best fast-food style restaurants; I'd say they're tied with Chick-Fil-A as my top 2.
And one I just barely managed to catch - a really sharp Peterbilt 379.
I couldn't ID this one, though I can read "Cecil" under the door, along with some other text I can't decipher.
A nice Kenworth T680 for Givens Transportation, whose headquarters are in Chesapeake, Virginia.
A super sharp Peterbilt 389.
A somewhat rare White/GMC for WG64T for City Transfer & Storage from High Point, North Carolina.
Also for City, a cool old P&H Kobelco T220A.
City again; a pretty nice Ford L8000.
City one more time! - a cool Ford L9000.
I like seeing the older big Fords set up as tractors, don't really see them much anymore, they're more often set up as straight trucks.
Also note the squarish fuel tank with integrated steps - not sure, but I believe that's a pretty rare feature.
A Kenworth T800 in the shadows.
Also in the shadows, a nice Freightliner Coronado.
Thanks for looking!
Seeing that old Ford tractor made my day. Nice catches
The L9000 is looking kinda rough cosmetically but is still super cool. I have happily invested many dollars to Biscuitville 😋.
