Yep, the usual midweek festivities, a batch of 20 various rigs of particular interest from my travels.
First today, a nice International 9400.
A very bright Mack Anthem for 10 Roads Express, whose headquarters are in Carter Lake, Iowa.
Another Mack, this one a nice Pinnacle for Hilltop Trucking from Wirtz, Virginia.
A Peterbilt 379.
A cool ol' Ford L8000.
An International Durastar for Franklin Container from Rocky Mount, Virginia.
A sharp Western Star 49X.
I haven't quite formed an opinion on these yet - not sure if I like them or not... but they're definitely not ugly, and this one is particularly nice, so yeah. I think I'll put them in my "sharp, happy to catch them, but wouldn't buy one" category.
Another "Star Car", this time a 4700 for First Piedmont, who're headquartered in Chatham, VA.
A Kenworth T880 for Hilco Transport, who are headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.
As far as I know, there's no special name/number for the SFA T880. Which, in my uninformed opinion, is not a good idea. The SFA should have a separate model, like the T800 for example, which had the T800H , T800W, and regular T800. The SFA T880 could be a T880F, or even a T890, to fit with the W990 as a SFA, and the normal SBA T880 either just T880 or T880B. Just a thought, as when a certain model has several configurations it makes finding parts more difficult. (SBA = Set Back Axle, SFA = Set Forward Axle)
A sharp Kenworth W900L.
A Volvo VNR for Southeastern Freight Lines, who are headquartered in Lexington, South Carolina.
I've always liked their livery, and the logo is cool, too.
A sharp Peterbilt 379 for ALL Crane, whose headquarters are in Cleveland, Ohio.
That's a really cool piece of equipment there. And because it's so interesting, as I was typing this I paused to research it - it's a Jarraff Industries Quad Track Jarraff. https://www.jarraff.com/products/jarraff/quad-track-tree-trimmer/
Their logo is a giraffe. Get it? Jarraff = giraffe. Long reach brush trimmer. Pretty creative.
A big, sharp looking Peterbilt 567.
A spiffy Kenworth T680.
A Volvo VHD.
A Freightliner Cascadia for Maverick Transportation, who're headquartered in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Wonder if those PODS are loaded, or if they're just in transit to a PODS facility? Look like they could be new.
A Freightliner Coronado for Just In Time Systems, who are headquartered in New Kingstown, Pennsylvania.
A nice Mack Granite.
An International 9400 for Dooley Contracting from Blue Ridge, Virginia.
And lastly, a head-on shot of a Kenworth T800.
Thanks for looking!
All nice catches - my fav is that old L8000 and the Jarraff backstory was particularly interesting-thanks I always seem to learn something here
Lots of interesting photos.
