As an avid fan of Star Wars (prior to the Disney takeover, particularly), hope everyone has a fun May the Fourth!
And starting us off today, a wet International 9900ix.
I don't see many Maersk cans around here.
A nice Western Star 4900 and a somewhat tired looking Freightliner Classic XL.
A spiffy Ford F-550 for the Alamance County (NC) EMS screaming off to an emergency.
A sharp Kenworth T680.
A Freightliner Cascadia for Herc Rentals, who are headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida.
And 2 shots of a true rarity that I was thrilled to encounter.
A Mack Superliner, actually still working!
I've only seen a handful of Supers, and this was only the second one I've seen working.
Interesting situation with the headlights...
A spiffy New Flyer Xcelsior for National Express Transit, whose headquarters are in Lisle, Illinois.
A Freightliner Classic XL that looks like it's been around the block several times.
And lastly, a first for me - a really sharp *daycab* Peterbilt 389 for TMC, who're headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa.
Thanks for looking!
Great pictures! We have several working Superliners around the Salisbury area. I know of at least 4. I will try to get some picture.
I suppose the Mack would pass inspection with the lights mixed up, he has one on each side so I say he is good.
Nice set and yeah the super liner was a great catch - thanks for posting
