On a very rainy and chilly Monday afternoon here at TPF HQ, seems like a good time for a random 5 pack.
First today, a nice Kenworth T680 for Sharp Transit, who're headquartered in Salisbury, North Carolina.
A spiffy Kenworth T680 for Heartland Catfish, whose headquarters are in Itta Bena, Mississippi.
I've personally never eaten catfish, and didn't realize it was popular enough to run tractor trailer loads of it around the country. I'd guess it's more popular here in the South than in other areas.
A Volvo VNL for Harris Teeter, who are headquartered in Matthews, North Carolina.
Our local Harris Teeter has supposedly put in what's basically a bar and food court type thing; from what I've heard, a shopper can grab a beer or wine and sit there and drink, grab some grub from their deli or whatever, or wander around the store drinking. Don't know if any other stores have this. As I am against all types of alcoholic beverages, I find myself thoroughly unimpressed.
A sharp Peterbilt 389 for GT Express, whose headquarters are in Mokena, Illinois.
And lastly, a cool and unique Kenworth T600 for Tufco, who're headquartered in Siloam Springs, Alabama.
T600s aren't all that common, particularly daycabs, and especially not as straight trucks. Pretty happy I caught this one.
Well the Catfish Hauler was a new one on me - pretty cool Nice pics
Interesting catches. The catfish carrier is not something I’ve ever seen.
