Welcome to the first ever New Equipment Showcase!
This is where I reveal the newest additions to our fleets, with photos, videos, specs, and other details.
Being the first shot at this, my video skills in particular are a bit lacking, and I'm using really basic editing software, but I of course am endeavoring to improve both my skills and the quality/type of equipment I'm using.
But without further ado, here we go!
-Video at bottom.
First up is the newest addition to the Kirk's Sineath Towing fleet, W-11.
Chassis specs: 2019 Ford F-550 4x2, Supercab, XLT, 6.7 Power Stroke, automatic transmission.
Bed Specs: 2019 Jerr-Dan MPL-40 Autoloader.
Details: Built by a Texas dealer as a show truck to be used for a couple of years (new trucks built every couple of years, with current trucks being returned to dealer and sold) at the Texas Motor Speedway, this truck has touchscreen navigation, backup camera, premium Star Phazer lightbar, power locks, windows, and mirrors. This is the first extended cab (Supercab) wrecker we've had, something I think will make the driving experience more pleasant with the extra room.
Second, the newest addition to the Battleground Tire & Wrecker fleet, 110.
Chassis specs: 2022 Ford F-750 4x2, Supercab, XLT, 6.7 Power Stroke, automatic transmission, air ride, air brakes. Equipped with additional strobes under cab and in the grille.
Bed specs: 2022 Jerr-Dan 22ft XLP rollback with wheellift. Equipped with Jerr-Dan's proprietary R.A.I.L system, which are strobes, 2 per side on bed, that are angled so that when the bed is lowered they shine straight back (see video for demo).
Details: Built to our specifications, we went with a Supercab at my insistence, in the opinion that, much like the 550, it would improve driver comfort, and as an added bonus (that applies to W-11 and 110) makes carrying passengers easier and more pleasant for all involved.
-Both trucks will receive our standard black and red color scheme.
And the video, which I'm pretty happy with, honestly!
Man those are super nice trucks and the video/info very informative. Really enjoyed being able to see the undercarriage in the video
