On the last Wednesday of August 2021, here's a big 20 pack for hump-day.
First in the lineup today, a Western Star 4700 for J T Russell & Sons from Albemarle, North Carolina.
A Ram 3500 with an interesting trailer.
That trailer is pretty unusual, don't believe I've seen one quite like it before. Wonder what they haul?
Notice there's no name or DOT #, either. Hmmm...
I typically post my photos in the order I take them, so next is a bit of a random interlude - an old house looking most definitely the worse for wear. Appears a tree (or trees) fell and gave 'em a new skylight.
And apparently the cost to fix was prohibitive, so there she sits, abandoned.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming with a Ford L9000.
A Kenworth T370 for Thomas Tire, who are headquartered in Asheboro, North Carolina.
A Volvo VNM for Williams Brothers Trucking, whose headquarters are in Hazlehurst, Georgia.
They've taken advantage of their name's abbreviation "WBT" to designate themselves with the moniker "World's Best Team", which is "Customers, Employees, Suppliers".
A Kenworth T800 for CTW Specialties, who are headquartered in McLeansville, North Carolina.
A sharp Peterbilt 389 for RLB Transport from Ramseur, North Carolina.
A cool Stewart & Stevenson M1083. I'd assume this is U.S. Army equipment.
I LOVE catching military stuff - such interesting variety. And the super cool all-wheel-drive trucks, which are just awesome.
This (and the other Military vehicles coming up) were all taken around Fort Bragg and around that general area.
An AM General HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), commonly known as a "Humvee". And a Peterbilt 386.
A super cool Oshkosh FMTV (Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles).
A clean Mack Pinnacle.
A sharp Kenworth T880 for Deejay's Trucking from Raleigh, North Carolina.
A nice Kenworth T600.
A really cool and pretty rare Kenworth W900S.
A Freightliner M2-106 for Lowe's, whose HQ is in Mooresville, North Carolina.
A nice International LT.
Interesting to see IH getting a piece of the "tricked-out-aerodynamic-truck" scene, much like the Pete 579 and the KW T680.
A pretty classy Freightliner Cascadia.
Note floating axle on the trailer.
A nice Kenworth T880 for B&R Hauling from Sanford, NC.
And the last one in the pool today, a little Freightliner Cascadia.
Appears to be hauling a prefab in-ground pool.
All great catches - especially the military ones - don’t ever get to see those in my area - and the pool catch is one of a kind - really cool
