Here's a 5 pack of train shots for your midweek viewing pleasure...
First up today, an EMD GP38-3 for Norfolk Southern, who're headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
NS 5829 started out as Southern SOU 7009, a high-hood EMD GP50 built in October 1980. It became NS 7009 after the SOU/N&W merger. NS eventually rebuilt it into the form seen here.
Next are a few shots of some interesting NS MOW rolling stock.
"Tie & Surfacing Gang", a.k.a. - track gang.
More T&S.
Note this one has N&W reporting marks.
More track gang stock, this time with SOU reporting marks.
And one of a string of either new or refurbished ballast cars.
That's all for today, thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoyed!
Interesting track gang stock - can they bunk in these or for supplies only?
