Here's another round of trains, with some western visitors...
First up, a Union Pacific GE AC4400CW, specifically UP 6408, which was built originally for the Southern Pacific as SP 362 in October of 1995.
UP is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
Another UP engine, this time 4669, an EMD SD70M built in May of 2001.
First time I've seen UP engines, and two of them, with a fairly rare SD70M, being especially nifty.
Back to more local and mundane power, we have RNCX 1984 "City of Kannapolis", a typically nice EMD F59PH for the NCDOT, who are headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This one was built in July of 1990 as GOT 552, then over to AMXX 1346, and eventually NCDOT.
Another NCDOT EMD, this time an F59PHI, this one being RNCX 1797 "City of Asheville".
Built in December of 1998 for NCDOT.
And that wraps up this batch - thanks for looking!
The 2 NCDOT engines have totally different looks - both nice
