The cabin is by Paul Kittle and I only replaced the cab entry steps by those of a Freightliner FLB86 by Promotex. The chassis is also by Promotex, the wheels are by Athearn and the tanks, air intakes, exhaust pipes and toolboxes are scratch built or from the parts bin. The rear fenders are shortened Kibri ones.
The lowboy trailer is by GHQ and only modified for ready to roll.
Gorgeous cab over Kurt, nice combo, I also like the spoke wheels on the truck, very retro of trucks I remember seeing and even driving back in the day!
Jim.
Wow! You guys amaze me with these beautiful builds in such small scale.
Always nice to see cabover models.😎
Remarkable - do you do any hand painting on your models?
I've always thought the Powerliner was a great looking truck, and this one definitely proves that, really great looking model there.
The spoke wheels look really nice, don't see them on cabovers much, especially on the steer axle, nice to see something different.
The trailer looks fantastic, too.
That’s a nice looking combo. Do wheels roll on truck and trailer? Do steers turn? Will the neck detach from trailer?
