Wix has an app for Iphone and Ipad (and Android, I assume), that allows members to log into the site on the app with the login that you would use on a desktop/laptop, and that has the following features:
You can get notifications on your device when someone comments on or likes your post or a post you're following.
Allows you to like and comment on posts from your device, bypassing the need to actually go onto your internet server (Safari, Google, etc.) and log in to the site.
Stays logged in, which makes it easy to do a quick post/like/comment. Example: You get a notification "Wreckerman created post "Peterbilt", you can tap on the notification, which will take you directly to that post on the app, where you can like or comment on it.
I think this should make it pretty easy for off the cuff posts, such as Photo of the Day: take a picture with your phone, go to the app, and post it into the POTD thread.
Personally, I use it on Iphone and Ipad, and have found it to be pretty easy to use and user friendly.
I don't know if Wix has an Android app, as I do not have an Android, though I may see if I can get a friend to test it on an Android device (or someone here could maybe try it out and let us know how it is).
