Hello again folks, I'm back with a solid 5 pack of construction equipment.
Starting us off, a set of CAT and Deere dumps.
A good comparison of similar models from competing manufacturers. I haven't actually operated an articulated dump, but from strictly appearance, I prefer the Deere.
A Komatsu PC260LC for United Rentals, whose headquarters are in Stamford, Connecticut.
An old Volvo BM L70.
I wasn't familiar with the "BM" part of the name, so after a little research, I learned the story: basically, BM stands for Bollinger-Munktell, a construction equipment manufacturer Volvo bought in 1950, which from what I could tell, is how they began producing front-end loaders, as BM had been, and Volvo had not. At some point, Volvo dropped the "BM" part of the name, which probably only appeared on loaders anyway.
Also, those are unusually long forks.
A CAT backhoe.
And lastly, an unidentified tower crane.
These are super cool and interesting.
And on that high note, thanks for looking!
I believe the loader bucket is sitting beside the building
Tower crane catch extremely interesting-good photos
