Being around and operating various types of construction and farm equipment over the years has given me quite an interest in them, thus, the new Farm & Construction page where I, and hopefully others, will share their photos and have discussions about cool and interesting equipment.
To break ground and plant the seed (excuse the double puns) for the F&C page, here are some photos I've harvested (another pun!) over the years.
For the first brick in this wall, a vintage Cletrac 20 crawler.
And for another brick in the wall (yes, another pun), a beefy John Deere log skidder.
A Caterpillar (CAT) off-road dump truck stirring up some dust on a highway construction site.
An old and I'd assume retired, but still interesting, Gradall.
And a Euclid B-30 (?). I'm not really sure what this is, but it's pretty cool.
Another vintage piece, this one a Ford 8N (?) tractor we use for various tasks around the farm at TPF HQ.
A John Deere loader toting some pipes.
A Kobelco excavator equipped with a jackhammer.
A BIG forklift with a claw attachment for moving logs.
And lastly, my personal ride around the farm at TPF HQ, a Polaris XP900 High Lifter Edition.
As a side note, I've always liked UTVs and ATVs, so photos and discussions of them are welcome in the F&C forum, too.
Thanks for looking!
